Yes, it is possible to install Arch Linux on a USB drive. This is known as creating a “live USB” of Arch Linux.

To create a live USB of Arch Linux, you will need the following:

  1. A USB drive with at least 2GB of available storage space
  2. A computer with an internet connection
  3. A copy of the Arch Linux installation ISO file, which you can download from the Arch Linux website (https://www.archlinux.org/)

Once you have these things, you can follow the steps below to create a live USB of Arch Linux:

  1. Insert the USB drive into your computer.
  2. Download and install a program such as Etcher (https://www.balena.io/etcher/) that can be used to write the ISO file to the USB drive.
  3. Open Etcher and select the Arch Linux ISO file and the USB drive as the destination.
  4. Click “Flash” to begin writing the ISO file to the USB drive.
  5. Wait for the process to complete.

Once the process is complete, you will have a live USB of Arch Linux that you can use to boot and install Arch Linux on any computer. Please note that you will need to configure the BIOS or UEFI of the target computer to boot from the USB drive in order to use the live USB to install Arch Linux.
